Your gift to the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law will make an immediate impact on our school, our students, and our community.
Please consider supporting our top priorities:
Scholarships ensure UNLV Law is accessible to all students, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Increased funding for scholarships will help:
Clinical Centers and Programs
Our clinical centers and programs bring together students, faculty, and community leaders to address important local and national issues, while also providing students valuable opportunities to learn while doing. Your gift will help us maintain and expand our:
Experiential learning opportunities that prepare our students to be practice-ready.
Clinic programs where students practice law under the supervision of licensed attorneys while offering free legal services to low-income clients in the areas of immigration, family law, juvenile justice, tax, education, and securities law.
Speaker series and symposia which bring important public policy discussions to the law school that are free and open to the public.
Public Interest Law
Donations to the Public Interest Law Association ("PILA") at Boyd directly support this tremendous student-run organization that promotes public interest law and funds summer grants for students working in public interest law.
PILA’s goal is to provide grants this summer to six law students who will be working in unpaid positions with non-profits and legal services organizations.
Past PILA grant recipients have spent their summers working with organizations including Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Nevada Legal Services, the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program, and the Clark County District Attorney and Public Defender Offices.
The support from alumni and friends has made Boyd one of the top public law schools in the nation, and this support is critical to our success going forward. Every gift makes a difference.
