Small Classes. Big Ideas.
In classrooms, laboratories, performance halls, and playing fields across the UNLV campus, a small group of undergraduate students are reaching beyond the ordinary. They are asking the tough questions, sharpening their intellect, and leading new initiatives. These remarkable young men and women – students in our Honors College – profoundly impact the university and wider community of Southern Nevada.
Honors College at UNLV is a small, selective college that offers an exceptional undergraduate core experience to talented students. We take the highest-achieving and most well-rounded high school graduates in the region, bring them together into a tight-knit learning community, and devote considerable educational resources to propel them into highly successful and socially conscious professional lives.
High-achieving students have so much to offer our community – infectious energy, inventive ideas, and a fierce passion for social justice. They are our annual resupply of fresh eyes and open hearts, bringing a special perspective to helping us address the most pressing problems facing our region.
And we need them here . . . In Southern Nevada . . . At UNLV.
To attract these students, we must offer the scholarship support and academic experience that will rival the best undergraduate programs in the country.
Join us in supporting our extraordinary students. Together, we can build an Honors College that inspires students to reach higher, work harder, and become those world-changing agents we desperately need.
