Established in 1967 as the College of Business, now the Lee Business School is one of the largest schools at UNLV. Lee Business School is made up of driven faculty and students who strive to make an impact locally and globally with an overarching vision of cultivating leaders who transform business. Lee Business School offers undergraduate and graduate degrees through five departments: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and International Business, and Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology. Three centers call the Lee Business School home: Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER), Lied Center for Real Estate, and Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Our students have the opportunity to gain real-world experience through internships before they graduate, as well as participate in award-winning student chapters of organizations like the American Marketing Association (AMA), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and Beta Alpha Psi. Thank you for supporting the Lee Business School through Rebels Give! Your donation will support the program, department, or fund of your choosing which ultimately will benefit students and their educational experience at UNLV.
Accounting - The mission of the UNLV Lee Business School's Department of Accounting is to cultivate future accounting professionals, to conduct high-quality research that contributes to practice and theory, and to create a collegial and collaborative workplace. We seek to further the missions of UNLV and Lee Business School by providing valuable services to Las Vegas, Nevada, and beyond.
Accountants are trusted, objective professionals who provide information for decision making and serve as business advisers. The Department of Accounting offers an undergraduate degree (BSBA) in accounting, a minor in accounting, and a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) degree. Our curriculum prepares students to compete in the dynamic accounting field.
Economics - The discipline of economics studies how to allocate scarce resources to meet unlimited wants. A blend of theory and applied quantitative and analytical skills, a degree in economics prepares students for jobs in businesses, financial firms, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations and for advanced degrees in business, economics, law, public administration, and other social sciences.
Finance - The Lee Business School Finance program prepares students for successful careers in corporate management, depository institutions, investment management, and financial services.
Management, Entrepreneurship & Technology - The Department of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology offers bachelor’s degrees in entrepreneurship and management. We also offer a master’s degree in management information systems (MIS), dual master’s degrees in MIS and hotel administration and MIS and MBA, and a graduate certificate in MIS.
Marketing & International Business - The Department of Marketing and International Business (MIB) provides a professional orientation to education with coursework emphasizing both the theory and practice of marketing or international business.
